For the last two years, three teams from 1st B have travelled to do mission work in the Central American country of El Salvador.  We are partnering with Enlace for an ongoing sustainable mission, demonstrating and announcing the Gospel to some of the poorest communities in the world.  We are supporting water projects, house building, education, medical support and more as we practically demonstrate the love of Christ along with the teaching of His love to thousands of people in El Salvador.

Additionaly, the First Baptist Church of San Diego is mission oriented, supporing ministries such as Floresta, World Vision, WorldHELP and more.  We support missionaries in Russia, Mexico, Thailand, Costa Rica, Ireland, El Salvador and elsewhere.

In 2009, we are increasing our mission focus and information.  We are excited to be used by God love others in this way, meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of people around the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
